Post and crown

Posts are used to stabilize the crown when there is not enough structure of the remaining tooth.

A dental crown is a tooth-shaped "cap" that is placed over a tooth to restore its shape and size, strength, and improve its appearance.

Porcelain crowns are recommended after a root canal to prevent fractures. It can also be used to protect a weak tooth, a tooth with a large filling, or to help anchor a dental bridge or crown.
